On 25 May 2026, the Baku Convention Center hosted the opening ceremony of the “Volunteer Leaders Development Concept” Programme, implemented by the Azerbaijan Volunteer Organizations Union with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event highlighted the main objectives of the programme, the importance of volunteerism for society, and the role of leadership development among young people. The speeches particularly focused on increasing social engagement among volunteers, expanding personal and professional development opportunities, and shaping future career paths.
As part of the programme, presentation videos were showcased, while participants shared their experiences from the selection process and discussed the development opportunities offered by the initiative.
