On 1-2 July 2026, the Baku Convention Center hosted the 28th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.
The Meeting brought together representatives of the Bank’s member countries, international financial institutions, and observer organisations, providing a platform for dialogue on regional cooperation and sustainable development across the Black Sea region.
During the Meeting, participants reviewed the Bank’s operational performance, discussed preparations for the Medium-Term Strategy and Business Plan for 2027-2030, and considered key strategic priorities for the years ahead. The Republic of Bulgaria was also elected to chair the 29th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors in 2027.
On the second day, the programme continued with the Business Forum “Connecting Markets, Diversifying Economies: Azerbaijan as a Regional Hub”. The Forum featured presentations, plenary sessions, business discussions, and bilateral meetings between business leaders and representatives of financial institutions.
