On April 16, 2024, "Azerbaijan Insurtech Summit" was held at the Baku Convention Center, organized with the support of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, "Türkiye InsurTech Hub" and "New Generation Management Company."
The event was attended by about 300 representatives from the financial markets of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The main goal of the summit was to discuss key issues of the technological transformation of Azerbaijan's insurance market. As part of the panel discussions, participants exchanged experiences on the digitalization of Turkish insurance companies.
In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, emphasized the importance of learning from the experiences of Turkish insurers and strengthening cooperation with them.
The priorities of the Central Bank in ensuring the sustainable development of the country's insurance market and supporting its digital transformation were also highlighted, as well as the initiatives being implemented in the field of technological transformation.
