On 17-28 November 2025, the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will be held at the Baku Convention Center. This is the first WTDC in the CIS region, highlighting Azerbaijan’s growing role in advancing global digital development.
WTDC-25 will bring together global leaders, political figures, and industry experts to set priorities for the next four years, focusing on affordable connectivity, digital transformation, inclusive ICTs, and sustainable development. The conference will adopt a Declaration, Action Plan, and Regional Initiatives to drive global digital progress.
The event will host over 1,500 participants from over 150 countries. Within the framework of the conference, new policy directions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals will be defined, and action plans will be discussed.
